Reservation Policy

To guarantee seamless planning, secure the corresponding government permits, and offer you maximum safety on each of our Andean routes, At Peru Expedition establishes the following reservation policies governing all of our programs, day trips, and high-mountain expeditions.

To initiate the booking process, the Client must mandatory provide the following information for each passenger:

  1. Quote and Itinerary Request: The client contacts our sales team to customize their itinerary or choose one of our standard tours.
  2. Guarantee Deposit: The client makes the corresponding advance payment (in accordance with our Advance Payment Policy):
  3. Verification and Ticket Purchase: Our operations team validates the payment and immediately purchases the non-transferable and nominative tickets from the Ministry of Culture, train operators (PeruRail / Inca Rail), and authorized transport providers.
  4. Issuance of Confirmation Voucher: Once all permits are acquired, we send the Client their Official Service Confirmation Voucher via email within a maximum of 48 business hours.

Critical Note: No reservation is considered confirmed and no spaces are guaranteed until At Peru Expedition has issued this Official Confirmation Voucher.

It is the sole responsibility of the Client to verify that the personal details of the travelers provided in the booking form match their physical passports exactly.

The Company is not responsible for fines, boarding denials, missed trains, or the inability to enter Machu Picchu caused by spelling errors, incorrect passport numbers, or expired passports provided by the Client.

If a client renews their passport after booking, they must send us a legible copy of both passports (old and new) to update the registry with the Ministry of Culture (subject to additional administrative fees).
