A fullday tour through the heart of the Inca Sacred Valley: the archaeological site and market in Pisac, the fortress of Ollantaytambo and the mountain village of Chinchero.
The tour leaves Cusco and heads to the Sacred Valley, one of the most important agricultural regions of the Incas. First you visit Pisac, with its archaeological site and farming terraces, and the local market. Then the group drives to Urubamba for lunch and continues to Ollantaytambo, an Inca fortress that still stands among huge terraces and temples. On the way back you stop in Chinchero, a village at about 3,700 meters with Inca remains, a colonial church and traditional weaving. The group returns to Cusco in the late afternoon.
